Terms of Service
Effective September 15, 2026
These terms govern your use of Aggregate Finance (“the app”), operated by Mitchel Baker (“we,” “us”). By using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
What the app does
The app connects to your financial accounts through Plaid and writes information about your credit card statements, transactions, and recurring payments to a Google spreadsheet that you own.
Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States.
- You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for activity under it.
- You may connect only accounts that you own or are authorized to access.
Third-party services
The app relies on services we don’t control, and your use of them is also subject to their terms:
- Plaid connects to your financial institutions. By connecting an account, you grant us and Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your information from the relevant institution, as described in the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.
- Google provides sign-in and Google Sheets under Google’s Terms of Service.
If one of these services changes or becomes unavailable, some or all of the app may stop working.
Not financial advice
The app organizes information for your own reference. It doesn’t provide financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.
Accuracy of information
Information comes from your financial institutions through Plaid, and may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Categories, recurring-payment detection, and statuses such as “Paid late” are automated estimates. Always confirm balances, due dates, and payments with your financial institution. We aren’t responsible for missed payments, fees, or decisions based on information in the app or your spreadsheet.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the app. That includes accessing accounts you aren’t authorized to access, attempting to break or circumvent its security, interfering with its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
Your spreadsheet and data
You own your spreadsheet and your data. You give us permission to process your information as described in the Privacy Policy, solely to provide the app. The app adds and updates its own tabs. Avoid relying on edits to cells the app manages, other than the columns described as yours to edit, because syncs may overwrite them.
Free preview
You can create a sample spreadsheet filled with generated example data at no charge. The preview doesn’t connect to any financial accounts.
Subscriptions and billing
- Pricing: connecting your financial accounts requires a paid subscription. The price depends on how many banks you connect and is shown before you subscribe (currently: $5/month per bank).
- Automatic renewal: subscriptions renew automatically each billing period and are charged to your payment method until you cancel.
- Changes to your bank count: connecting another bank increases your subscription right away, and you’re charged a prorated amount for the rest of the current period. Removing a bank lowers future charges.
- Cancelling: you can cancel anytime from “Manage billing” in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Charges already made are non-refundable, except where required by law.
- Failed payments: if a payment fails, syncing continues for a short grace period while you update your payment method. If your subscription ends or remains unpaid after that period, syncing stops and your connected banks are disconnected. Your spreadsheet and the data already in it remain yours.
- Price changes: we’ll notify you at least 30 days before a price change takes effect. The change applies from your next billing period, and you can cancel before then.
- Payments: payments are processed by Stripe. We don’t receive or store your full card number.
- Taxes: prices may not include applicable taxes, which may be added where required.
We may provide complimentary access to some accounts at our discretion.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time. We may update these terms; if a change is material, we’ll update the effective date and notify signed-in users. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Ending your use
You can stop using the app at any time, cancel your subscription, remove connected banks, disconnect Google Sheets, and delete your account from the account menu, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or if needed to protect the app or other users.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app won’t exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
